All RWS Match pellets are produced with the classic diabolo shape. Head design, tail section and the special geometry of the pellet head plate are decisive for the optimum stabilisation of the pellet in the barrel and therefore also for sharply punched holes. 

 

A rough guideline for the selection of the right pellet weight:

Weapons with low muzzle speeds – for instance CO2 airguns – need lighter pellets. The faster transit time in the barrel is the decisive factor here.

Weapons with higher starting speeds – for instance PCP air rifles - function better with heavier versions.
