This summer, the 50th ISSF World Championship in Sport Shooting will take place at the Olympic shooting ranges in Garching-Hochbrück. The world-best rifle, pistol and clay pigeon shooters from more than 100 nations will prove their abilities here and provide for exciting days of competition. Precision, concentration and subtle intuition, as well as the selection of the right ammunition are decisive factors of success on their way to the world champion title.

Nickel Finished Case®
The RWS cases of the Silver Selection are additionally finished in the factory’s own galvanic lab. The spe-cial surface makes the case even more resistant to external influences. Silver Selection cartridges are therefore easier to load and provide faster repetition shots than conventional products.
Flash Control®
The Flash Control Technology of the Silver Selection is an absolute novelty. With the help of a distinct pioneering spirit and highest technical effort, the muzzle flash has been reduced to a minimum. This en-ables the hunter, even in the deepest darkness to maintain a better sight overview and to keep the control over the hunting scenario. In the sports sector the RWS rimfire cartridges have started their triumphant march a long time ago. They enjoy high recognition thanks to best medal positions and Olympic honours.
This gives us every encouragement to closely cooperate with top sportsmen and experts in an effort to steadily perfect and expand our product range. Decades of experience in the production of ammunition is a solid basis on which RWS achieves improvements time and again to secure its international reputation as a leading brand.
However, it is not only the cartridges that are continuously optimized to meet highest technical demands and inspection specifications. The design of the package has also been modernized and now displays an innovative, appealing character.
Also new is the clear segmentation of the RWS rimfire cartridges in product lines to facilitate the choice of the appropriate ammunition for the application area in question.
The colour codes to identify these product lines are adjusted to the lines of RWS air-rifle bullets so that they are uniform and easy to adapt.
The PREMIUM LINE - in GOLD - stands for cartridges of highest quality and performance for the high-end segment.
The PROFESSIONAL LINE - in YELLOW - identifies high-performance cartridges for both competition and training.
The SPORT LINE - in ORANGE - comprises solid training cartridges for price-conscious shooters
The FIELD LINE - in SILVER - includes all cartridges for special application areas.
In addition we have introduced a classification of the products in the sports sector on the basis of stars. The maximum number of 5 stars ***** for the PREMIUM LINE signifies highest precision and an outstanding shot performance.
The packages feature pictograms which clearly and in an internationally straightforward way show the calibre and the projectile weight, the number of pieces and the intended use for pistol or rifle.
